Future Innovation
DNA Printing
A possible future improvement to the Forensics Sciences could be a DNA reader for cash registers and ATMS (Automated Teller Machines ~ cash withdrawal machines). This will be very helpful to the Forensics field, because Virtopsy already gives tons of information about the crime, and the suspect (usually from stray hairs at the crime scene, fingerprints, weapon choices, etc.). But once the suspect is identified, how will you find him/her? By the time all of the evidence is examined and filed, the suspect could be in another town, city, or even state (not considering the fact that he/she might have flew out of the country). This will be a great new invention because whenever the suspect handles money, the fingerprints or small hair follicles can be read straight from the money being handled. It would work sort of like a Wanted poster, except instead of a picture of the person (which can be manipulated with hair dyes, fake hair, contacts, etc), it will be a copy of the DNA print found on the crime scene. Whenever the person shows up (at a store, or ATM bank) the Forensics lab will immediately get a message, and they can easily locate the person, and charge them for the crime committed.

Crime is a global problem. All countries have crime in some way, shape or form, and all countries have some type of currency. This is why all countries could use this innovation. Although it could be used in many countries all over the world, that doesn't mean that it will. Like Virtopsy, this will also very extremely expensive. This would mean that most third world countries could not afford it. Therefore it will be used globally, but mostly in first or second world countries, since third world countries (most likely) couldn't afford it.
